Violin&Viola School of Kirkland was founded in 2001 by Dr. Cynthia Morrow as a place for talented young violinists and violists living on the East Side of Seattle. Since then, her students have performed as members of Seattle Youth Symphony, Cascade Youth Symphony, Bellevue Youth Symphony, All State Orchestra, All Northwest Orchestra, Pontiac Bay Symphony, Eastside Symphony, as well as in their various school orchestras. Many have gone on to conservatories and university music programs. The Studio has become the place to be if you are truly interested in playing the violin or viola.

Our studio gives three recitals a year.  The first one takes place in January an it features our students in

ensemble performances, primarily duos and trios, with other studio members. 

Our second and third recitals take place at the beginning of June, Juniors (9th Grade and under) and

Seniors (10th Grade and above) and are solo performances with piano accompaniment.  All recitals are

followed by copious amounts of cake.  Lots and lots of cake.

     Beginner/intermediate 60 minutes $75                                    

     Intermediate/Advanced, 90 minutes, $90
